Renfrew County: Woodlot Tour

Our chapter members visited Terry McCann's property in August, 2011.

Terry McCann has invited us to his property for our next outing.  It will be on Saturday, October 21, at 9:30 a.m.  

He is at 2287 Opeongo Road, which is about 1.5 km west from Highway 41  (south of Eganville but north of Dacre).  He will meet us at the road.

Terry will welcome our input and discussions around thinning, tree planting and deer, and other ideas on woodlot management.  Recently retired Algonquin Park forester Joe Yaraskavitch will be on hand.

It will go rain or shine, but we hope we get another nice fall day.
