Using lidar to detect under ground water sources.

The current drought this summer has raised problems for young and old  trees along with rural water tables being depleted .

Are there any access to info for a private landowner to show where healthy vegetation for underground water sources during this drought?

Lidar,   like I mean vegetation showing bands of a light spectrum  using a near infrared light detection or even a 3D module? If so I would be interested in this info!

Witching is a tool used for finding water sources .I am just looking for another more modern application that would be freely available.

    Thankyou Christian Schoenwandt Bath Ontario
