Olyvia Foster is the Communications Coordinator for the Ontario Woodlot Association. She is the primary contact for assisting chapters with local events and for sharing news via the OWA's social media platforms, e-blasts, the monthly newsletter and the website.
Olyvia has a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph where she majored in ecology. Since graduating, Olyvia has worked in academic research, native plant horticulture and communications for nonprofits.
In her role with the Ontario Woodlot Association, Olyvia works with the OWA Communication Committee to produce, write, and edit the high-quality, quarterly print magazine, The Ontario Woodlander. Major projects she has supported to date include the Forest of Hope tree plant, the Agroforestry program, and coordinating the OWA's 30th Annual Meeting and Conference and the OWA's booth at the 2023 International Plowing Match.
