Member Profile
As a member of the original Ontario Sawmill and Woodlot Owners Association, I remain a proud supporter and a director with the Kawartha chapter.
Graduating from SSFC as a Forestry Technician, I was fortunate to be employed with Ontario Hydro for 28 years.
Living on a 49 acre hobby farm/woodlot (near Bobcaygeon) allows my spouse and I the enjoyment of country living with our bees and trees.
Operating a WoodMizer bandsaw for 32 years, this property allows an excellent location for milling logs, piling and storing material.
Being a past chapter president, I am pleased to see our membership growing steadily...around 135 to date. As well , the Kawartha chapter keeps the Kawartha Woodland Conference going...in it's 29th year.
Living the "wood life", I have been enriched by my connections with many members of the OWA past and present.
