The South-West Woodlot Association is excited to welcome everyone to our annual Information Day & Bus Tour!

*Bus Departs at 8:30am

 

WHAT TO KNOW

Registration:

Seats are limited, please register no later than 20 August to guarantee your spot!

Registration requires payment:

Before 20 August = $45/person

After 20 August = $60/person

Payment can be made via:

cheque payable to The South-West Woodlot Association

Preparation:

Wear clothing appropriate for walking in woodlots, fields and long grass which may be damp. Hard hat and high-visibility vest are recommended for woodlot tours.

Bring your own lunch (beverages will be provided).

 

WHERE WE’LL GO

This year the tour will be making stops at a number of engaging locations with unique insights and perspectives to offer, including:

 

Brillinger Nut Farm
A specialty hazelnut orchard showcasing sustainable nut tree production and the potential of agroforestry for diversified rural landscapes.

 

Sycamore Farm & Market
A small, regenerative family farm producing local food while promoting biodiversity, pollinator habitat and sustainable land stewardship.

 

Kerr Farm
A pioneer in the region for its leadership in soil health, regenerative agriculture, and long-term environmental stewardship.

 

Eagleson Woodlot
A working woodlot showcasing long-term forest stewardship practices, biodiversity and the ecological benefits of well-managed woodlands.

 

Cedar Echo Sheds
Custom wood sheds and outbuildings emphasizing quality craftsmanship, practical design, and durable materials for rural properties.
