Brant Woodlot Owners Association Tour

The Brant Woodlot Owners Association is hosting a tour on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Our first stop will be at an Old Order Amish sawmill near Norwich, Ontario. Meet at 9:00 a.m. at 772823 Hwy 59. Look for the green barn on the right (5 minutes south of Premier Equipment and the Brant Woodlot sign). Henry, the mill owner, will be demonstrating log processing from start to finish. No photography at this site please. Coffee will be available at 8:45 a.m.

From the mill we will proceed at 10:15 to Splitfire Manufacturing for a tour. Splitfire is a Canadian manufacturer of wood splitters, chippers, and buckets. The Splitfire plant is at 285633 Airport Road, Norwich.

Following these tours we hope participants will come to Joe Demeulenaere’s for a lunch in his heated shop. The Demeulenaere’s are at 224 3rd Concession Road, RR3, Princeton. The property is conveniently located near the Hwy 403 interchange with Middletownline Road. Please bring a small donation toward lunch costs.
