An Overview of CFIA's Forest Health Surveys

This presentation will introduce the audience to CFIA’s National Plant Health Surveillance Program and will provide an overview of several key forest pests and the CFIA survey methodologies used in Ontario for hemlock woolly adelgid, oak wilt, Asian longhorned beetle and spotted lanternfly. This talk will also emphasize the importance of plant pest outreach and education in monitoring for invasive pests.
