Invasive Pests Threatening Woodlots in Eastern Ontario
Organized by: The Quinte Chapter of the OWA and the Invasive Species Centre.
It’s been a busy year for invasive species in Canada, with new species introductions and detections. We’ll look at some of these species currently threatening forests in Ontario, such as oak wilt, hemlock woolly adelgid, spotted lanternfly, and Asian longhorned beetle, by covering their current status, potential impacts, and ways we can prevent their spread.
Once registered you will receive instructions to get the Zoom link. Registration for this event is only open to OWA members.
