Brant Woodlot Owners' Association Annual General Meeting
It’s time for our 2023 Annual General Meeting. On December
2, 2023, please join us at the Cainsville area farm of Christine
Garneau and John Bisaillon, 400 Johnson Road, Brantford.
Come at 9:30 a.m. for conversation, coffee and goodies. At
10:00 a.m. John and Christine will lead a tour of their 24 acre
farm. Featured are specimen trees such as cucumber
magnolia, their developing apple orchard and nursery
business, a pine/spruce plantation, and a riparian edge on
Fairchild Creek. The farm name is Creek View Acres after
Fairchild Creek.
Following the tour we will meet for a beef brisket lunch in the
equipment shed (rumour has it that John has toured the
national barbecue circuit). After lunch our AGM will be held
with updates on forest health and current timber markets, our
financial statement, and an election of Directors, wrapping up
at around 1:00 p.m. with door prizes. Note: please bring a
folding chair if possible for the meeting. Lunch cost is by
donation.
It is important that as many of our members attend as
possible. Our AGM is one of your best chances for input into
our programs. We hope to see you there.
