Chapter Annual meeting, financial report, discussions and planning.

Glen Prevost is the Program Coordinator for the Ontario Woodlot Association, managing their Certification Program, Carbon Offset Program, and Climate Change Adaptation Training. Glen is a Registered Professional Forester, a Managed Forest Plan Approver under the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP), and has completed the Ontario Tree Marking Course.
Ben Gwilliam is the Private Lands Inventory Analyst for the OWA and a recent graduate from the Masters of Forest Conservation Program at UofT. His background is in computer science, GIS, and forestry and he currently leads the private lands inventory project working with LiDAR data to produce enhanced forest resources information across non-Crown lands in Ontario.
Glen and Ben from the OWA-main office, will bring Waterloo-Wellington chapter members up-to-date on relevant OWA programs and initiatives. They will cover the OWA’s Private Land Forestry project, forest certification and carbon offsets for private landowners, and harvesting co-ops. They will also highlight some of the partnerships the OWA uses to promote the interests of private woodlot owners.
